The existing school campus includes two sites that are aligned diagonally opposite from each other.  On a daily basis, young students walked across the populated residential streets, having to stop traffic in several directions, increasing risks of safety and security.  Building enough classrooms to keep the students on one site was a challenge due to real-estate in playground and circulation.  Although the new two-story building is the largest of the campus, it does a great job of maximizing much needed play area, while providing curb appeal to the campus from a major arterial road of the city.
